Your Age

When I was your age little girl

I was scared and naive

I didn’t believe in myself,

didn’t think I was capable of much

When I was your age

I thought every little thing mattered so much

I tried so hard to please everyone else

And mother, father

When I am your age I hope I am even close to being as put together as you seem

But when I am your age I am not going to be the same

I am going to tell my kids that I am proud of them in everything they do

I am going to try to remember how I felt when I was young

And I am going to tell them that I know how everything can seem so hard

But that I also know that things will get better

Some things that seemed so huge will become insignificant, and other things…

Things you haven’t even thought of, they will become your whole world

But right now, here in this moment

I am my age, I am just me

I am still trying to please and I am still scared

But I am also trying to be brave and be happy with who I am

So little girl…remember that I am proud of you

Who you are, and who you will be

I am proud of your mistakes and I am proud of your triumphs

And someday, someday I hope that you will be proud of you too.

thedrunkenmoogle: The Cake is Not a Lie (Portal Mixed Drink) Ingredients:2 cl Whiskey 1 cl Kahlua 1 cl Bols Brown Cacao 1 cl Cherry Liqueur 1 cl Bols Strawberry Top Up with Double Heavy Cream Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled Rocks glass. 1 cl Bols Brown Cacao
1 cl Cherry Liqueur
1 cl Bols Strawberry
Top Up with Double Heavy Cream

Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled Rocks glass. Top up with whipped creme and strawberry slices.

thedrunkenmoogle: Plasmid (Bioshock cocktail) Ingredients:30ml Smirnoff Vodka20ml Blue Curacao10ml MyrtilleSmall bit of Lemon JuiceChampagne (however much you want, at the end) Directions: Fill a tall glass with ice and crush with a pestle, adding to the ice until it fills the class three-quarters full.  Grab your cocktail shaker and pour in the vodka, Blue Curacao, Myrtille, and lemon juice.  Now pour that into your glass until thats three-quarters full.  Top off the rest of the glass with champagne and add fresh blueberries and blackberries. Warning:  Plasmids have addicting qualities and may or may not give you the ability to freeze humans.  Results may vary. This might be the tastiest looking drink I’ve ever posted. Props to OXM UK for making this.

30ml Smirnoff Vodka
20ml Blue Curacao
10ml Myrtille
Small bit of Lemon Juice
Champagne (however much you want, at the end)
